Do we stay with the children, or drop off?

All of our sessions are drop off. A key part of the Glasshouse ethos is that children are free to explore and express

 themselves. Often parents and carers being there inhibits the children. Leaving them with us and fellow Minis helps the growth of our students – and you’ll see a difference VERY quickly.

How much is it?

Our hour sessions for Minis and Maxis are £6 per session. Our 90-minute Teens session is £8. These are PAYG weekly.

 This gives freedom so you’re not tied to termly payments.  You can pay cash or card at drop off or pick up.

What makes Glasshouse Mini different?

At Glasshouse Mini we use creative drama. We start each session with our sharing circle, where the children are

 invited to tell us something that happened in their little world that week, or in the community, or wider world! No one has to contribute until they’re ready. The sessions are child led so they feel in control and safe to express themselves however, and whenever,

 they feel ready!

You’ll notice a difference in confidence with your child very fast!

Are the sessions just for children interested in performance?

Our sessions are for absolutely everybody. Some have used our classes to build confidence ready to join other classes.

 Some use them to help their child at school. And of course, our classes are great for those interested in performing

Who runs the class?

Amazing Amy works as an actor and a teacher. Amy founded Glasshouse Mini in 2011. After teaching drama in a secondary

 school, working as an actor, and then as a family support worker, Amy wanted to do something that combined all her skills and knowledge. She also wanted to offer children in the area something she would have loved as a child.

As a very shy little girl herself, she always wanted to perform but was scared to walk into a room or speak to anyone! So the thought of any drama group filled her with fear! If only Minis existed back then.
